Not to my knowledge, no.

And, probably my least accurate emulation of all: Polly. Very roughly based on the Polymoog. The actual sound of the Polymoog was so unique, I only did this because of the Resonators and the unusual modulations. I'm sure it sounds nothing like a Polymoog, but an unusual and interesting noise machine anyway.

As long as I'm still up:

Here, one inspired by another soft-synth, Fuzzpilz fabulous Oatmeal. I call this cutOats, because as impressive as Oatmeal is (especially using one of the alternate skins), I wanted something that was similar to it's core synth voice with all the effects, arp, etc. stripped out, and some of the synth elements simplified (especially the filter which which always bewildered me a bit. It was really it's modulation structure which interested me most. I implemented the oscs as my three-knob mixable waveforms ones.

I'll probably get flamed for this one, but I did this from a place of great respect and admiration for Urs Heckman and his terrific creations. Unfortunately, my humble PCs could barely handle many of his synths. Since I'm a big fan of both the Roland System 101M and the ARP 2600 (both of which inspired the u-he ACE), I did an approximation of ACE with less CPU-intensive drop-down patching, and of course a less powerful internal synth engine. I just liked the concept, design and feature-set of ACE, so I created Joker. I threw in a couple of little tricks that ACE doesn't have, in partial compensation for the fact that the humble SM oscillators and filters can't hold a candle to u-he's custom coded stuff.

Be sure to click the 'Info' button at bottom-right for info on the 'hidden' functions, etc.

Thanks to the work of bluesmoke (and Cakebox) 80-vox now has proper IL/AL/A/D/R filter envelopes.

Since we're on a Yammy jag here: Yumaha CS-35; emulates the basic structure of the CS-30L (CS-30 without sequencer), but with a panel layout closer to that of CS-15, i.e.: VCO1>VCF1>VCA1 along the top and VCO2>VCF2>VCA2 below. Layout of the CS-30(L) was absolutely bonkers. A second LFO added, plus signal and mod routings more flexible than either hardware.

Another Yammy, but this one never actually existed in the real world. I was intrigued by the 'tone boards' that were used to program the mighty GX-1's presets, but doing a vst of the GX-1 would an enormous task! So I did an emulation of a pair of tone boards and made them 'playable' by adding all the non-oscillator panel controls from 80-vox (approximation of CS-80). This gives us - toneBoardz:

This is what bluesmoke was using to work out the IL/AL EGs. I went ahead and did the rest of the param-naming and a little GUI spruce-up and controls fine-tuning.

Y'know, the moment I'd posted that stuff I thought, 'No -that can't be right.'
And I've changed my mind each time I looked at it since.
Thanks for making me look a whole lot smarter than I ever normally feel!

Back to page one, again:

What you posted seems pretty unequivocal - but are you sure it's what you mean?

As it stands, I or anyone else can distribute any of this material as we wish - including selling the plugins.
We could do so without giving you any credit - let alone cash! - whatsoever, even rebrand it as our own.
We could modify the plugins and distribute them without making the .osms available.

I'm a big fan of 'freeware' and 'open source' - and not just because of the 'price'.
But IPR isn't something to give away too lightly.
Perhaps there are members with experience of this kind of thing who can advise you about the different kinds of copyright and/or open source licensing you might like to consider.
Or maybe you already have considered them?

Whatever you decide, your generosity is not in question.
This stuff is astounding!
Thank you.

The only thing I would object to is someone putting something out there and claiming it as their own work. I suppose one of the advantages of letting 'the whole world' in on this is everyone would know what the culprit was up to and it wouldn't be a secret for long! I don't think someone trying to make money off this would meet with much success, since it's widely known that it's all available for free. If someone did a ton more work on something and tried to sell the result that would be fine; it's now much more than my work (like if someone could figure out an accurately emulated sequencer for the Music Weasel, and/or Source of Uncertainty for my other Buchla stuff; many of which I haven't put out there yet because the sequencers are actually step LFOs and the random modules are I'm sure not working right). I'd love some help on those things and wouldn't mind a bit if that someone wanted to make a few bucks off the result. I think a lot of folks would get a kick out of the Buchla emulations, but they have to work right!
