Request to ruin your stuff?

Postby R&R » Mon Jul 24, 2023 9:25 am

A directed question for Spogg and MV...

This isn't really relevant right now. But "eventually".
I will not be adding any effect section to my synth, since I know jack sh** about advanced processing as you know  I hardly know any sound/synth stuff either :D

However I'd really like to create a copy of your "Quilcom M2S effect" Spogg, bunched together with MVs reverb and some chorus. Similar to what you and Kevin incorporate in your plugins.

The M2S plugin is actually the one that gets used the most by me

There would be zero reference in the plugin UI pointing to anything of mine, only Quilcom logo, links and credit/reference to MV (and links?) ...since it's advanced as is... I can also add Martins full name in it (since he doesn't have to feel  about his own work and certainly not your's Spogg)

BUT it would use the same UI style as my plugin (except no "cacti") and be scalable in the same way.

The download will be from my webpage, pointing to an added item just next to your M2S plugin, in the Quilcom link list, listed as "Bundled effect plugin with Saguaro.one style UI".

Let me know if this would be ok.

Just an idea for me to tinker with for a while. Yet no reason to start laying out an UI if it's not ok by you guys 8-)

Probably a weird layout :D

We'll see if it's ok by Spogg...

Meanwhile, I leave you with some singing

Of course it’s ok! Anything I make is free for anyone to do anything with.

Have fun!

Thanks!

Since it'll be an outright copy of your plugins... only in a new UI and distributed from my webpage... it's courtesy to ask at minimum 8-)

Yes. That's the problem with FS.
Even at my beginner level and also having severe case of tweaker-expression in the genes... it's a little bit "to fun" and addictive

LOL every FS schematic or any sound becomes a horror show when I get my hands on it... :D

I guess I just have that kind of "magic touch" :P

Thought I would share a clip. On the subject of ruining things that is... :P

Probably just me finding this funny... since I wasn't aiming for this at all so I don't know how I even ended up with it

Whatever this schematic is

The sound of two basic feedback circuits of single delays summed together. I guess something similar to a feedforward and backward comb filter output summed together.

Just experimenting and I don't know these things... so... completely uncontrollable resonance, tuning and everything.
If I only knew enough to understand the outcome :)

Yes interesting ! Sometime we want chaos for introduction, passage or even in the whole song as ambient stuff !
