Got it. All good. Behaviour seems strange though?
I click on "Maths" folder-it's not there. Ok, try the filter.... still nothing......

maybe you havent download the audio and dsp pack?

viewforum.php?f=74

.. for ruby maybe you find this viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1133 useful too, its also like a step by step developing for a running clock with a ticker..

great you got all working now!

No, got them installed. I found it(multiply) via the "Search", but it's not there in the Maths folder,
which kind of confused me a bit. There's a "multiply float array" there, but no multiply.

But clicking on "filter by template", gave me all the good stuff in one hit. Cool.
I'm slowly getting it.

Thanks. I'm finding Ruby is a bit overwhelming to take in all at once. I think i might take
Trog's advice and just dive straight in.

Going through all the timing posts. I have to build an accurate timer first. Love the "Arp" module.
The "Graphics Classes" fsm is just great. So many great uploads. :)

Sorry - bit late seeing this. Great to hear you've solved the problem. Very interesting to hear how you managed it too.

Are we ok to mark this as solved on the title so that anyone else who runs into this can try your solution?

CRASHING AT START UP (PART 2)
It's crashing on start-up again.
The crash is different this time.
There's no indication what causes it, FS opens briefly, and at the point that you
expect the toolbox to start loading, it crashes clean, with a FS bug report window.
I sent one report off.
About 24 hours later I ran the same CMD fix again and rebooted.
Didn't work this time. FS Still crashes on open.
I sent another report off.

Well it's not the toolbox or something i put in there.
I deleted all User mudules in "Application data".
Now the toolbox loads, gets to 100%, and then crashes.

So I turn to the laptop, and it crashes the same way as well......unbelievable.....
Laptop is not networked to main cpu. I'm not sharing FSM's.
Laptop just used for "user guide" referencing at the downstairs smoking section section.
Just don't get it :? :?
Only clue i got is that "Windows update" has been functioning on both cpu's. Not much of a clue.

So I try the laptop again, it crashes, but this time, I get a different window.
An FS window with an option for safe start or ignore. :D
Body reads:
"Either a recovery file is corrupted or you have chosen to startup with a file that is
crashing the application"
"Try removing all files in your recovery folder and check if your most recently used schematic
is corrupted and delete"

I chose "safe start", it started with the example schematic,(not my doing)
so I changed it back to "Empty". Restarted, all good. re-booted, all good.

So laptop had the same problem as main CPU, but is now working due to "Safe start" entry.
(Note:recovery folder was empty)

Ok. back on the main CPU, problem remains. And I NEVER get a "Safe start" option.

 Is there a way to force FS into showing me that "Safe start" option ??
 Could a tempory "Registry" hack be written, to forcing the option to appear,so I can
just get inside the program, and reset it like i did with the laptop????

I've sent Support several crash logs.....com on guys....you must a clue from the data.......
throw me a bone here will ya......I need FS working on my main CPU.......

Thanks for your support Nix.
It's not good. Using the Laptop(working) registry as a reference, I just spent hours
changing things. Even deleted all FS Registry folders and re-installed. No good.
I need that "safe start" option pop up. I think it maybe up to Outsim/Dsp now.
I'm locked out tight.
If you need to talk to me, I'm easy to find
Just look for the guy slipping back into manic depression
