Re: Post-production plugin

Post by Spogg »

Hi Sweenlion

I haven't done this myself but I reckon Flowstone is absolutely ideal for such an idea. There are plenty of pre-made primitives and larger modules available to help create a sampler whereby each sample could be loaded and then trigerred by a MIDI note or range of notes.
You could start by checking out the stock Waveplayer module, take it apart and adapt it if you need to. Since what you describe sounds very similar to a sample-based drum machine it's entirely possible that some kind soul has already done the groundwork and you could learn from that...

This sounds to me like an interesting project and I'm sure the great members here will help with questions that will inevitably crop up. From my point of view I think the trickiest and most demanding aspect would be to actually create and record the sounds!

Good luck and let us know how it's progressing...

Cheers
