Guys!

Just for a laugh!

This was my home studio in the early 80s.
As you can see, a lot of it was self-made and was a lot of fun to do.

Looking back at this makes me so appreciative of what we have now. With Flowstone I can just "draw" a synth on the screen and it actually works (once I've figured out why it didn't at first).
I can record and edit just what I want in Reaper. I never run out of tracks or tape or patch cords and I never burn myself on the soldering iron.
Plus, I still get immense satisfaction when my idea has come to fruition.

I'd love to see your pics of your old technology if you have any...

It would have been a dream for me to have such a bedroom studio! Probably would have never seen daylight :lol:

I don't have any photos from my "studio" at that time. A few years ago I scanned some photos (no negatives) from around 88/89, but they are from a gig, so I can't contribute here.
