Hello gang,

In this simple schematic when the two pulses cross each other (by varying the delays) how could I make them just pass each other without adding. Many thanks if you can solve it, BobF.....

Simplest way is to clip the output to limit the range.

Thanks Spogg,

But I for got to mention (very sorry), this is not the actual circuit so clipping will not work. The actual circuit is a new filter I am working on with 2 resonant peaks, but it has a way to go still before I post it.

In that case, since the additive effect is a mathematical certainty, I would say you need a fast compressor/limiter to keep the amplitude level. Based on your example I would say a peak-based envelope follower would be best, rather than average or rms.
