Re: OBDII Communications project
Hooked everything up on my windows 8 laptop and couldn't get the pull-down listing of COM ports to work. Com menu works ok on my Win 7 PC but it's inside.

Re: Flowbluino - The Node Warrior
Nice. I'll have to do some studying. Arduino is heavily supported with hardware that is much cheaper. Having a way to set it up with flowstone is handy.

Re: OBDII communication
Sweet! For OBDII, the biggest hurdle for me was understanding the COM port communication -which is way over my head. I'll have to break it down some using your file. I would love to make some custom tools in FS.
*Edit
Picked up the interface and bluetooth adapter. Pretty cheap!

Re: Ventilator: High Frequency, Pressure-Limited
I made the background bitmap using Blender. I was listening to the Tron soundtrack and got a little carried away.
I needed a high-contrast GUI that worked well at night. A lot of ventilators like Siemens or Drager have interfaces that are way too bright for night time use.

Ventilator: High Frequency, Pressure-Limited
After spending the first half of this year learning Ruby and playing with FS, I was able to start on a functioning ventilator prototype later this summer. Now that I have it working pretty good, I would be happy to have you guys critique the FS side of things, so I can have something well-tuned.

Re: FlowPaw new hardware from DSPRobotics..
Nice. This will be great for teaching my kids.
As for audio & robotics being together, I think FS is awesome. I would be saddened to see them part, since I have one program for all my projects. It is very versatile.
**Edit**
The Flowpaw specs are pretty impressive! Love the number of in/outs.

Re: Tabbed GUI?
Scrounge around the ol' synthmaker forum. I didn't know it existed until about a month ago and have had great success. Here's some:

http://www.synthmaker.co.uk/forum/viewt ... bed#p92192
Note that FS will open (most?) synthmaker files on the forum.
