Re: Loading time tips
I just replaced my ruby codes with standard modules to draw the knobs, and there was noticeable improvement in loading time. about 25%

Re: I support 64Bit development
dunno why we are still here while synthedit alpha exports for Mac and has 64 bit. Yeh, I love jeff's direction. Developing process is slow, but consistent. And looks promising. Workflow is still clumsy, the method and the philosophy behind it is still primitive and old modules yet not supported ...

Best bet: use MAX/MSP Really? this is an actual plan with a time table? More like a sarcastic joke; none of the devs have any OSX experience. They'd have to hire another programmer who'd be willing to work for minimum wage to re-write 80% of the program for MACs.

Re: 24/192 Music Downloads ...and why they make no sense
And ultimately, you gotta play it back through a non-linear magnetic driver to turn it into soundwaves. Mostly yes, though you can trash your speakers (home stereo) if you keep playing digital square waves. & I have to agree with MyCo, I can see a pure digital sine wave not coming out pure when you ...

Re: 24/192 Music Downloads ...and why they make no sense
As far as studio work goes, yes higher bits & bitrate do help.
But for 99% of the consumer market, even above average people can't tell the difference. There already is a test:
