This has been happening to people a lot lately, and unfortunately it's not something that forum moderators have any control over, and I have no idea why it seems to affect some members but not others. The only advice I can give is to send an e-mail to support letting them know that it's happened and what your username is. They can be a bit slow picking up on their emails, but they will sort it out - sometimes it will get sorted anyway, but it's best not to rely on them doing that without giving them a prod.
