VST2 for Ableton Live 9

Post by aw-bs »

Hello,
I am really fond of FS and I created some synth stuff.
But its not possible to run exported vst in Ableton Live9 because they don't support the vst3.
Is there ANY workaround or solution to bring Flowstone VST into Ableton Live???

Flowstone VSTs are VST2.4 not VST3 so they should work.

Or do you mean Ableton Live 9 only supports VST3? if so you are out of luck Flowstone is VST2.4 only.

ableton 9 doesn't support vst3! FS vsts should work fine with it.

Hi Folks,
thank you for answers.
I understood, Flowstone VST should run in Live9 (until now no support for vst3).
I´m happy with it.
I really thought Flowstone can ONLY VST3.

The question is what I made wrong by export my vst.
Perhaps some is missing.
I´ll try to figure it out.

Thanks a lot, Vielen Dank Nubeat - tolle Sachen machst du da- hab deine Page angeschaut!

You probably have Ableton 64bit and (as far as I know) FS only exports 32 bit vsts.
You need jBridge or something similar to convert your 32 vst to a 64 vst.
