How to fix DSERR_GENERIC and Direct Sound error ?

I've had these errors for a few days and don't know how to fix them. I'm using windows 10.

Not much information there so here's a generic answer:

Normally this type message means that selected device is locked by (software which uses) ASIO, (WDM/KS) or WASAPI Exclusive Mode driver for audio I/O. Locked device can't be shared with other software (though, there has been some audio interfaces which supports sharing even with ASIO).

So how I can check what software blocking Flowstone because my drivers are up to date.

It means that FlowStone wants to use your microphone but windows 10 doesnt allow it. In the windows 10 settings enable the apps to use your microphone, and perhaps it will work

Thank you very much I had microphone access disabled in the microphone options. I turned it on and the error disappears.
