Installation trouble

Post by tor »

I have set up an old laptop to use Win XP 32bit. I have SP 3 installed but when I install FlowStone 3.09 Beta i get this error when I try to run it: C:\Prog.....\FlowStone.exe is not a valid Win32 aplication.

I tried to uninstall and install any other versions but when I run them I get this error: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002)

Any help to resolve is greatly appreciated :)

I have earlier experienced that Windows Update was not working in Windows XP any more. So when I installed with SP 3 I just disabled automatic updates. Now I thought I'd check Windows Update just in case. Wow, over 140 updates downloading now. I hope this will do the trick.

Will let you know. Thanks for the help :)

I have now installed all updates and thinkable Windows extras but I still get: C:\Prog.....\FlowStone.exe is not a valid Win32 aplication, on the 3.09 Beta 2.

Though, now I managed to get the 3.08.1 to install and run properly.

I guess the latest beta is built on a newer OS than XP and thus is not compatible.
