64 bit development status?

I am just wondering if there is any progress or news regarding 64 bit support.

DSProbotics, what are you working on theese days?

Also interested to get at least a small update on this.
Bought flowstone with the confidence x64 vst support would be implemented soon.

And yes: I also think the dsprobotics crew deserve a nice sunny holiday ;-)

Yes. Infact the development was declared at SM->FS passage... :evil:

I was surprised to read, while following the Kush product line, how much difficulty in getting a plugin converted to 64 bit. He described the so few programmers available that can do this. And that meant $$$.

Seems that the Dev tools AND the required skills are scarce and booked :roll:

I prepared myself for 64bit development some time ago. I think the porting of FS is a huge task. Converting the C++ code (data types) is not that hard, but I guess that FS uses a lot of inline assembler code especially for SSE and this is really bad. Visual Studio's 64Bit compiler doesn't support inline assembler code at all (they forbid that). So DSPR has to port their assembler code to Compiler Intrinsics... this can get very messy. I don't even know if you can execute code from memory with this.

development has been announced 9 months ago, it would be really good to hear some news about that :idea:

As the 64bit update will be ready for download, i will buy an update from DSPR for sure.
