Custom Ruby Link & Icon

Post by chackl »

Hello!

I just wanted to do a request here and i hope it is possible to divide out between different Ruby objects.

At the moment it is a Red V - but if you want to link more ruby objects or built up modules and you have 5-10 links it gets verry confusing.

So how about the idea to "create" own link-Colours and icons for different ruby objects / Classes?

Regards

Yes, know that problem well! - it would be really helpful to have a quick visual reference of the different data without having to read the little connector names or module documentation.
Trouble is, there are just so many possible classes - plus whatever ones we might make for ourselves Maybe the ones that have 'green' equivalents could use the same letters I, F, S etc. - and then for other classes, hovering over the connector or module stretches out the connectors to see the complete class name. That would then work even for classes that the dev's don't even know exist.
All schematics/modules I post are free for all to use - but a credit is always polite!

Well but i thing that you do not use thousands of classes in the same schematic. :D (Ok maby you do :P )

But i realy thought about defining a little icon view with ruby and add link a lin col to it. And this link gets a name and only same names of icons can be connected.
