Fascinating. I have heard rumours that visitors from the future, both human and alien, have meddled in Earth politics before - in particular, they are alleged to have infiltrated the "save the whales" movement back in the 80's. Rather spookily, your mention of possible Vulcan involvement in Brexit does seem to fit with a mysterious quote attributed to one of these aliens...
